About Us
Words connect us, food makes us family. Coffee always brings us back together, and running helps us get closer to the people we want to be.
Fire crackling in the background, seated around a long dinner table in the sleepy riverside town of Derby, Tasmania – Cam, Adam, and Josh spilled ideas onto an olive oil-stained sheet of butcher's paper. A dinner table overflowing with roasted vegetables, bread + butter, and the ambient sound of friends' laughter was where it all kicked off. A creative brain, an organisational brain, and a production brain slowly simmered into a team that loved trail running as much as they loved coffee culture.
Josh and Cam are based in Melbourne, Australia, and Adam is on the Gold Coast, Australia. Materially, the three of us want to expand the space that exists at the intersection of running, art, fashion, and functionality. We've built Notes Running to bridge the functional side of running with the side we love most... the coffee after. We want Notes Running to have the ability to dress up and dress down.
Spiritually, our goal is to become the voice of runners through our words and poetry. Nobody will speak truer to the nuanced emotions and feelings of running better than Notes Running. In doing so, we will make products (material expressions) aligned with the truths of runners.
If you've found Notes Running, we hope that you leave better off than when you found us. Our goal is to help you gain new notes for your life through questions, curiosities, and appreciations. We hope that if you ever see someone else wearing Notes Running, you feel comfortable going and saying hello and sharing a conversation with them.
We're all evolving together. We're never far away, and we're always down for a coffee.
